The ADX111(Q) is a precision, low-power, 16-bit resolution, I2C-compatible analog-to-digital converter (ADC) available in MSOP-10 and QFN-10 packages. Its high level of integration helps to simplify system design complexity and cost by integrating a low-drift voltage reference, oscillator, programmable gain amplifier (PGA), and digital comparator, among other features. The internal digital filter of the ADX111(Q) offers flexible output data rates ranging from 8SPS to 860SPS. The PGA provides an input range of ±256mV to ±6.144V, enabling precise large and small signal measurements. The ADX111(Q) features an input multiplexer (MUX) capable of performing two differential or four single-ended input measurements. The digital comparator within the ADX111(Q) can be used for under-voltage and over-voltage detection. It operates in either continuous conversion mode or single-shot mode, with the internal filter being single-cycle stable in both modes. After a single-shot conversion, the device automatically powers down, significantly reducing power consumption during idle periods. Furthermore, the ADX111(Q) can operate over a wide power supply range, making it highly suitable for sensor measurement applications where power and space are constrained.
