  • The ADX102(Q) is a precision, low-power, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that provides all the necessary functions for measuring the most common sensor signals in either the MSOP-10 package or the ultra-compact, lead-free QFN-10 package. The ADX102(Q) integrates a programmable gain amplifier (PGA), voltage reference, oscillator, and high-precision temperature sensor. These features, along with a wide supply voltage range of 2V to 5.5V, make the ADX102(Q) highly suitable for sensor measurement applications with power and space constraints. The ADX102(Q) can perform conversions at data rates up to 3300 samples per second (SPS). The PGA offers an input range from ±256mV to ±6.144V, allowing high-resolution measurement of both large and small signals. The input multiplexer (MUX) enables measurement of two differential or four single-ended inputs. The high-precision temperature sensor can be used for system-level temperature monitoring or cold-junction compensation for thermocouples. The ADX102(Q) can operate in continuous conversion mode or in single-shot mode, where it automatically powers down after a conversion. Single-shot mode significantly reduces current consumption during idle periods. Data is transmitted via the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI™). The ADX102(Q) is rated for an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
