  • The HD700x is an automotive-grade single-channel intelligent high-side switch with input control pin compatible with 3V and 5V CMOS interfaces and a single-channel output.Widely used in automotive 12V ground load applications such as seat heating, the HD700xQ can further provide intelligent protection and diagnostic functions. The HD700xQ integrates advanced protection features including load overcurrent limiting protection, relative overtemperature protection, and thermal shutdown protection. In addition, the HD700xQ internally integrates a dedicated multi-function multiplexed analog output pin, IS, which provides sophisticated diagnostic functions, including high-precision proportional load current detection, output overload and short-to-ground alarms, as well as diagnostics for VCC shorts and open-circuit diagnostics for OFF states. The input SEN pin is the detection enable pin of the HD700xQ, which can further disable the diagnostic functions in the OFF state for lower power consumption. In addition, in scenarios where multiple HD7008Qs are used in the same system, in addition to saving power consumption, SEN enables multiple HD700xQs to require only one ADC sampling channel and one IS to ground resistor, greatly optimizing the system implementation cost. Currently, the HD700xQ dual-channel series includes four models, HD7008, HD7015, HD7040, HD7080, which correspond to four internal resistances of 6.5, 15, 40, and 80mΩ, and each of these models is available in two packages, SSOP14 and SSOP16, to achieve perfect compatibility with competing products.
