The HD700x is an automotive-grade single-channel intelligent high-side switch. Its input control pin is compatible with both 3V and 5V CMOS interfaces and features a single-channel output. The HD700xQ is widely used in automotive 12V ground-referenced load applications, such as seat heating, and can further provide intelligent protection and diagnostic functions. The HD700xQ integrates advanced protection features, including load overcurrent limit protection, relative over-temperature protection, and over-temperature shutdown protection. Additionally, the HD700xQ includes a dedicated multi-functional multiplexed analog output pin IS, which can provide complex diagnostic functions such as high-precision proportional load current sensing, output overload and ground short-circuit alarms, as well as VCC short-circuit diagnosis and open-circuit diagnosis in the OFF state. The input SEN pin is the enable pin for the HD700xQ's sensing function, which can further disable diagnostic functions in the OFF state to achieve lower power consumption. Moreover, in systems using multiple HD7008Q devices, the SEN pin not only saves power but also allows multiple HD700xQ devices to share a single ADC sampling channel and a single IS-to-ground resistor, significantly optimizing system implementation costs.

Currently, the dual-channel HD700xQ series includes four models: HD7008, HD7015, HD7040, and HD7080, with internal resistances of 6.5Ω, 15Ω, 40Ω, and 80Ω, respectively. Each model is available in both SSOP14 and SSOP16 packages to achieve perfect compatibility with competing products.
