The HD70xx2Q is a dual-channel intelligent high-side switch designed for automotive applications, featuring 3V and 5V CMOS-compatible input control pins and two independent output channels. It is widely used in 12V automotive ground-load applications, providing advanced protection and diagnostic functions. The HD70xx2Q integrates multiple protection features, including overcurrent limitation, overtemperature protection, and a lockout function. The "FaultRST" pin allows for automatic output recovery or lockout in case of a fault. Additionally, the device features a multifunctional analog output pin (CS) that provides advanced diagnostic functions, such as accurate load current detection, overload and short-circuit warnings, and VCC short-circuit and OFF-state open-circuit diagnostics. The SEn input pin enables or disables diagnostics during the OFF state, allowing for reduced power consumption. When using multiple HD70xx2Q devices in the same system, the SEn pin can also optimize system implementation costs by requiring only one ADC sampling channel and one CS-to-ground resistor. The HD70xx2Q series currently includes four models: HD70152, HD70202, HD70402, and HD70802, with corresponding on-resistances of 15, 20, 40, and 80mΩ, each available in SSOP14 and SSOP16 packages for compatibility with existing products.
