  • The HD70xx2Q is an automotive-grade dual-channel intelligent high-side switch. Its input control pins are compatible with 3V and 5V CMOS interfaces, and it features two independent output channels. The HD70xx2Q is widely used in automotive 12V ground-referenced load applications and provides advanced intelligent protection and diagnostic functions.The HD70xx2Q integrates advanced protection features, including load overcurrent limit protection, relative over-temperature protection, and over-temperature shutdown protection with a configurable latch-off function. The "FaultRST" pin of the HD70xx2Q can control automatic output recovery or output latch-off in the event of a fault.In addition, the HD70xx2Q features an integrated dedicated multi-functional multiplexed analog output pin, CS, which provides complex diagnostic functions, including high-precision proportional load current sensing, output overload and ground short-circuit alarms, as well as VCC short-circuit diagnosis and open-circuit diagnosis in the OFF state.The SEn input pin of the HD70xx2Q is the detection enable pin, which can further disable diagnostic functions in the OFF state to achieve lower power consumption. Moreover, in systems using multiple HD70xx2Q devices, in addition to power savings, the SEn pin can enable multiple HD70xx2Q devices to share a single ADC sampling channel and a single CS-to-ground resistor, significantly optimizing system implementation costs.

    Currently, the HD70xx2Q dual-channel series includes four models: HD70152, HD70202, HD70402, and HD70802, with on-resistances of 15 mΩ, 20 mΩ, 40 mΩ, and 80 mΩ, respectively. Each model is available in SSOP14 and SSOP16 packages to achieve perfect compatibility with competing products.
